When the leap pad discussion popped up the other day, I started trying to find one. Of course pretty much every where is out of stock. I did want to buy one for my 4 yo, but I refuse to go to extreme measures or pay more than it is worth. The above link lists the price as $199! When I checked on Friday the same link listed it as $149. I will wait to purchase one. As much as I would like one for under the tree, it is not worth $199.

Yup, but some one will buy it . It's pretty much the only place I can find one. I too will buy an ipad, ipod touch, or DS over spending that on a Leap pad.
We got the Innotab by VTech...I don't know what the fuss is about the LeapPad. Innotab has an MP3 player and you can load pics, videos and whatnot onto an sd card and it plays them. It doesnt have a camera, but we dont need it to have one.
I'd go for Innotab.

That is a "Marketplace" Item....if you look at the seller, it isn't Sears. Another joe-schmo trying to make big $$$$. Sears' listing is still at $99, though not available.
Shoot. I have on that I paid $78 for (store rewards/perks).....if someone wants to buy it for $200, I'm game. My kids can wait til January!
