Internal check=contractions?

I had my first internal yesterday and btw zip, zero, nothing a little bit of thinning she said. Anyway, after I left the office I had contractions off and on all day. Different and more painful (nothing I couldn't handle) than I've ever had before. I'm calling them contractions because I was under the impression the BHs aren't suppose to hurt and these DID. I guess this is normal after being checked?

I always have some light cramping after my internals, but I've never had painful contractions.  I did have some spotting for several days after last week's appt, so I'm sure feeling some contractions or cramping is normal.  Your uterus and cervix probably don't appreciate being messed with.

I have some cramping after internals but not contractions. I would monitor it and if it seems to get worse you can call your ob just to make sure it is ok.

Yeah they weren't cramps. They def had a stopping starting point but were irregular. Lasted throughout the day. I do feel a little crampy this am. Gosh I didn't know this could happen from being checked.

Just had the 3rd one today and had spotting.  No contractions though but its normal to have them.

I was checked yesterday too for the first time. I also had contractions off and on all day at work but like you said nothing I couldn't handle. Just one of those things I guess. I feel okay today tho. (oh no dil. or thining for me either, but her head is freakishly low the dr said.)
