FIL update

Thanks everyone for your thoughts and kind words yesterday, for my FIL's failing health, ideas to honor him, and for the congrats on our third little girl. DH is still out of town with his family and they will more than likely take him off like support today as he is showing no signs of improvement and has less than a 1% chance of ever being off a respirator in the future and obviously his cancer would continue to spread either way. The girls really miss their dad since he has never been away for this long so I'm trying to be really strong for them and not let them know how much my heart is breaking. We decided to tell them about the baby being a girl when DH is back, and then we'll also need to figure out if we should bring them to the funeral etc, considering they just know that FIL is really sick now. We didn't have time to work on an approach to the idea of death since this all happened so fast. We thought we had months to figure it out and have them see their grandfather again. Anyway, for honoring FIL, I think we're going to stick to the original "A" first name, and then go with Johanna, Gianna, or Jane for the middle name. Thanks everyone for all the ideas. You ladies are very supportive and creative, I appreciate it.
