Ok, so that last post made me think about what I'm going to do for Christmas pics. I think I'm going to take them myself. Any ideas for poses/props? I have a Charlie Brown Christmas tree, and I'm going to get a giant stocking to put LO in. Any other ideas?
Re: Ideas for DIY Christmas photos?
Antler headband and rudolph nose? Or just wrap a big red bow around him!
I always like the stocking pictures.
I like the ones where the LO is naked (in a diaper) playing with a string of lights. These tend to look best (IMO) when the lights are all white (and lit) and the picture is black and white.
that sounds like it would make for a beautiful picture!
I just saw on the main bump page a picture of a baby with ornaments all around which looked nice. Other ideas: a baby in or around a wreath, for little girls- dress in a tutu and place a nutcracker near them, place the baby in a pile of stretched cotton (to look like snow) place glittery snowflake ornaments around.
I agree with this. I tried it with colored lights and I don't like the way it turned out! Luckily MIL is giving my a string of white lights to play with.
I also like baby in an oversized gift/box. I'm going to retry taking some of those pics (I always like the pics I take at first, but then I end up hating them
). Naked babies (or with a diaper and cover) in Santa hats are cute, too.
I just went to the Dollar store and picked up some big ornaments, a big bow, a stocking to stuff DS into and reindeer antler headbands (if you want to go cheap, that's the place to go!). Pinterest is also your friend when you need ideas.
I have so many ideas that I get frustrated because I can't do them all. I need to stay away from google and Pinterest! Have fun taking pics and be sure to post them!
I don't know if you have Pinterest, but I have a bunch of DIY ideas pinned...
