ugh another crap appt- why???

So it was a crap appt. First after starting stims. I told the Dr, who has my records, that we should be starting with a higher dose and such. What the hell, why dont they listen. So started Stims on Thursday, first followup today. Cyst collapsed (her words) and the only thing is, well I have extremely little response. So she did a blood draw and then depending on that is depending on if we continue stims and with this IVF or stop. I am a bit pissed.  I should not have to self prescribe this stuff that I have now spent a crap load of money on. I really think I have potential. When i went into my first appt there, in September. It was around cd3 i think, she did an ultrasound and I had not been on injections or anything in a while. She said, we can start you today or wait a cycle. For what ever stupid reason, i waited and now it is all jacked up, one thing after another. I should have done it then. but no, now I am wasting money and trying with the drugs she thought would be ok (i should have insisted on follistim) and if the labwork is ok, she said she may be able to get 2 eggs. I am sick about all this.

    Ugh - I'm sorry.  Is there any way you could switch clinics?  It sounds like this one isn't giving you the attention you deserve.

    Well gonal and follistim are the SAME drug, so it's not that.

    Sorry ur clinic seems to be a bit of a mess...GL moving forward.

    Dx: DH - Azoo, Me - Mild PCOS
    DH - sperm found! Seems to produce only for a few days every 70 days!
    Over 1 million in cryo in 15 vials over 6 samples
    IVF #1 - 1 beautiful expanded blast transferred, 4 snowbabies - beta #1 11/30/11 = BFFN
    FET #1, transfered 2 embies 2/16/12 = BFFN; 1 snowbaby left in cryo
    IVF #2 + CGH = 4 genetically normal embies on ice. FET September 26th
    SAIF/PAIF always welcome

    update to that, E2 blood work is back and it went down. So IVF stims stop and we go from here. If we try again, we wait a cycle and see what is next, or just decide out next step! Thats all I have, I am beyond words now.

    You should not be telling them what to do, how frustrating, find a new doctor!

    If you want to search and find me a Dr. go for it. There are not any that are not a few hours a way. I just spoke with them on the phone and they said the same thing, its not the drugs. She totally listened to me now. At least said she did. So I guess now its up to my husband and i to try to talk (good luck with that) and figure out next steps.  I guess I also have to come to terms with all of it. We cant even get to my flippin eggs to find out if it would work. %^&^%

    I am so very sorry to hear this, and sorry to hear that your experience with your RE has been so frustrating. Take care of yourself and GL as you figure out what your next steps are!

    2/11 Diagnosis: DOR-AMH .62, LPD and MFI-4% Morph
    IVF #1-July 2011 7/9/11-Started Stims
    7/20/11-ER:No eggs in 4/5 follicles. Left the 5th follie intact and converted to an IUI
    8/3/11-Beta #1=BFN,
    Nov, 2011 BFP #1=m/c at 7 wks 3 days
