12/1 eviction date, 3cm dilated!

Saw the doc today and I am 3 cm dilated. As I have gestational hypertension my doc doesn't want to keep him in there much longer. So, my induction is scheduled for 12/1. I hope I make it until then, for some reason I really want a December baby!! Totally illogical, I know.

I am right there with you!  I was 3cm on Thursday, and I feel like I won't make it to the 2nd, but I really want a December baby too.  Can't really explain why though...

Yay for you that you will be able to meet your baby soon! I just got a call from my doctors office that our induction is set for 11/28, and I have to say that I am slightly sad that I won't have a December baby after all. But I'll be happy that the little one will be here in just a week! :-)

Same here! It's completely irrational, but I'm really hoping that LO decides to stay put until my planned c-section on 12/2. I feel like the 2nd is a good birthday.

I feel the same way! after my post this morning I called the Dr office and asked if I could come in today instead, I am at 4 cm and he said that if the baby doesn't decide to come sooner he will induce me on the 1st. I'm really hoping LO decides to stay put because I too want a December baby.

I know!! I have been on bed rest for 2 months, but I still want him to stay put for as long as it is safe!
