Nicknames

Has you or your husband (or SO) come up with any nicknames for you or baby yet?

Mine has named both of us Velociraptor as baby has turned me into a loud puker.  (Think that episode of HIMYM when Lily was loud when doing that... now I get to laugh while puking, that just helps things along, thanks babe.)

The name was also confirmed for baby during our last u/s when baby was holding hands like a dinosaur would.  Makes for a fun conversation when people ask if we know "what we're having"!  (Have the pic to back it up!)

Any fun/cute/odd names out there for you ladies yet?

we've been calling the baby "Webby" since we found out i was pregnant.  It's an inside joke and I'm sure we'll use the nickname even after she/he is born, lol.

Gestational Sac or "Gesi" for short.  My daughter was Jordan since it's a nice gender neutral name...I ended up naming her Jordanne Summer, I guess it stuck, lol.

We had a nickname, but once we saw the baby looking more like a baby at our 12 week ultrasound it didn't seem to fit anymore.

Herman, hilarious!!!! He's going to be a fun dad just by the sounds of it! I love it.

 

Our LO is "Nugget" or whatever fruit we are during the week!

We combined our dad's names one day early on to see if that would work for a boy's name and it gave us LORDON.  It must be said dramatically for full effect.  That nickname has stuck, but is sure to be banished once the baby is born! (hopefully).

I usually say Peanut or Baby (not the baby).  No real nicknames, but we're hoping to have a name as soon as we find out the sex!

My husband calls me preggiepie... lol.  We don't have any cute names for the baby though, mostly we call it "the baby".

We call baby Cupcake right now.  We always joke that "bun in the oven" is a little too old fashioned for us.  All our friends and family call baby Cupcake too, which is pretty cute.

We've been calling him/her Nugget since day one...I dont really know why, but I said it one day and it just stuck.

This LO is Peanut because he/she looked like a peanut at our first ultrasound.Since, he/she didn't have hands and feet yet just little flipper like limbs and the body was sort of a figure 8 shaped blob. (that was a weird way to explain it but you all know what I'm talking about.)

DS was "our little dinosaur" because when we first found out I was pregnant we looked up pictures of what babies look like in the womb at that time and we dubbed him a dinosaur since that is what he closely resembled.

DH doesn't have any NNs for me, he'll say "who's the best mommy ever?" to me and DS then shout "you!" because he is so happy I gave him a son and now I'm giving him another baby. My younger brother calls me Preggo again just like he did when I was pregnant with DS.

 

When my sister was pregnant with my nephew I called him "Sacky ii" (a reference to the show Kim Possible). She was super early when she had her first ultrasound and he was a little sack and he was her second pregnancy (she was PgAL).
