Just an FYI... I'm pretty sure the Halo Sacks on Zullily are actually recalled. A friend told me there was a massive recall because a baby got the zipper stuck on his lip, due to the zipper being down bottom.

I don't understand how this would happen. I thought it would be safer for them to zip from top to bottom, because then they can't unzip them... or my kid can't anyway.
Hello! I?m with Halo. We just wanted to clarify kb2bkk?s comment. There has been no recall of HALO products. What she was referring to were two extremely isolated and unfortunate events that were featured in a recent TV news story in which two children?s teeth had gotten stuck in the eyelet hole of the zipper pull and were accidentally pulled out.
We?re truly sorry that these children and their families experienced such a freakish accident. There?s nothing more important to us at HALO than the safety of our products and the babies who sleep in them. From the beginning, all HALO products have been independently tested to ensure that they meet or exceed all applicable Federal product safety requirements. Each lot of zippers undergoes rigorous third-party testing, actually exceeding Federal safety standards. Further, the zipper design with the eyelet hole has long been a standard in the infant industry, and can be found on literally thousands of other infant products on the market today.
When we learned of these events, we thoroughly analyzed each one and found no pattern of defect. Even so, while we recognized that the risk for this type of incident occurring was extremely low ? less than one in one million - we concluded that it was appropriate to re-design the zipper pull to eliminate the eyelet hole. As of 2010, all new HALO SleepSack wearable blankets have been produced using the zippers without the eyelet hole, and no similar incident involving our product has occurred since.
We hope this helps to clarify things. For more information, please feel free to contact us at pr@haloinnovations.com.
Re: Need more winter sleep sacks?
Thanks! I put these on dd's christmas list, but I think she'll be getting one from Santa now, too.

I would, but with Zulily's shipping time, winter would be over before we got it.
I love that site for the deals, but the whole "they buy it then ship it to you" takes for farking ever!
I agree, but I actually got my last order in only 2 weeks! BUT one time it took 5 weeks.
