Is it possible to cough out a baby?

Venting - between LO sitting nice and low on my bladder and this cough/sore throat I've had for a few days it feels like I'll end up coughing her out lol. I just hope I'm feeling better for Thanksgiving...if nothing else the hacking will deter people from touching my belly.

.I wish it was easy as that, i would be at walmart asking every person thats sick to cough on me.<3. Im a crazy pregnant lady.

I've been sneezing really hard the last couple of days, and just 15 minutes ago, I said to DH, "I wish I could just sneeze this baby out!" Very similar to what you're saying! You would just think all of that force would do something, but nope, they are safely tucked away in there!

My mom was induced with me because she had bronchitis and was literally coughing me out. Never know!

LOL!!  I actually think that pneumonia was a big factor in the birth of my 3rd baby.  I was on meds for pre-term labor and bed rest and ended up with pneumonia and on my 3rd day of antibiotics I coughed while lying on the couch and gush my water broke.  I coughed in the ambulance ride all the way to hospital and an hour after arriving at the hospital I requested to get up to potty and the nurse checked and freaked because I was crowning.  3 pushes later he was born.  I swear I literally coughed him out.  It was the easiest labor ever.  I don't think I had him early because of my illness though, all my babies have been early.  But I think the coughing did really help make it go very fast from start to finish.  I hope you feel better.  I was put on cough meds too that helped some.
