***30-Day Shred Check-In***

Hello, ladies! This is our check-in for those of us doing the 30-Day Shred. I hope your workouts are going well. :)

*** I am finished with The Shred (I posted Before/After pics earlier) but will continue to post this every Monday and be your cheerleader. Good luck, ladies!!

  • 1) What day of The Shred are you on?  7.  I fell on the wagon for two days and added two days to the end as punishment Embarrassed

    2.) What Level are you on?  1

    3.) How much weight do you want to lose? 5-10

    4.) Total weight loss as of today (just doing The Shred)? 1 pound!

    5.) Any body changes you are noticing?  Endurance!

    6.) Additional comments/thoughts/rants/raves about this workout? Jillian kicks my butt, but I do think she's great.

  • Side question. Anyone else traveling for Thanksgiving?  Will you bring the shed with you?

     I'm determined to do this since I will probably miss two days  because of travel and don't want to lose 3 additional days

  • 1) What day of The Shred are you on?I am on Day 9!!  2.) What Level are you on? Still at Level 1 - although I did try Level 2 once and plan to move up at Day 11! 3.) How much weight do you want to lose?Um, like 25 lb! LOL.  4.) Total weight loss as of today (just doing The Shred)? I'm definitely down a couple! It's so hard to tell since my weight fluctuates so much throughout the day, +/- 5 lb.  5.) Any body changes you are noticing? I might feel a wee bit tighter.  6.) Additional comments/thoughts/rants/raves about this workout?I love it!  BONUS Question- What exercise move is your favorite?  I love the punches too, ha ha! And the chest presses (something about laying down and exercising appeals to me!).  I skipped a day on Saturday because we were away so I didn't count it. I don't plan to travel in the next little bit, and I only have the version I downloaded on I-Tunes so I could bring it with me on my i-pad I guess!

    6.) Additional comments/thoughts/rants/raves about this workout? I love that it's 20 mins!! That's a short amount of time for great results.BONUS Question- What exercise move is your favorite? I have a thing for my legs so anything that gets those into shape.

    Thanks! Might need to try it!  I've lost 30 but I'd like to lose another 30.. and my belly is whats holding me back from all my jeans!!!

    3.) How much weight do you want to lose? Overall I'd like to lose another 10, but my goal for the shred is 5-7

    4.) Total weight loss as of today (just doing The Shred)? 2 lbs

    5.) Any body changes you are noticing? my arms and legs feel stronger and my stomach is less flabby

    6.) Additional comments/thoughts/rants/raves about this workout? I'm ready for it to be over! haha

    BONUS Question- What exercise move is your favorite? double crunch!

    I'm doing before/after pics as well- and I took halfway pics today. I can already see a difference!

  •   1) What day of The Shred are you on? Yesterday was day 10. I don't do it every day, I try to do it at least 5 times a week. 2.) What Level are you on? 1, I'm going to do level 2 for the first time tonight. Wish me luck!
    3.) How much weight do you want to lose? 8 pounds tota. I have already lost 4, so half way thre! 4.) Total weight loss as of today (just doing The Shred)? 4 5.) Any body changes you are noticing? My midsectionis looking better, less of a muffin top these days. I love that I'm not dying half way thru the jumping jacks/jump rope part anymore and I can do 21 pushups now without stopping!
    6.) Additional comments/thoughts/rants/raves about this workout? I love that it's only 20 minutes. With work, 4 kids and a husband to take care of, plus laundry, I don't have much time for exercise! BONUS Question- What exercise move is your favorite? The side lunges, I have a love hate relationship with them!

    I'm doing it Wednesday before we leave, then running Thanksgiving morning, and I'll probably miss it on Friday. You could always bring it with you and just use cans of soup or something as your weights!

  • Somebody (no names mentioned) left the shred at home and am gone for a week. BOO.  And, my in-laws even bought a set of 5lb weights for me.  So, needless to say I will be starting over when I get home.  I will however take advantage of lots of hands who want to hold LO to go to the gym this week.

    Go ladies, GO and I will be back at it soon!!
