35/35... why is this significant?

Is it just because the numbers are the same? I don't get it.

    I think its hugely exciting because I remember seeing other posters on 3rd tri posting this ages ago and thinking 'wow they're so close!'. Now that it is us, its hard to believe.

    I think it's just a cool number thing.  No medical significance - just kind of an encouraging milestone.

    It's the only point in the pregnancy where the number of weeks and number of days remaining are the same. It's just a fun little milestone to some people.
