December 2011 Moms

plans for today!

With time ticking away way faster than I was expecting it to I have to set goals for myself every weekend to get things done or else it won't get done and then when baby does decide to be here I'm going to be in a panic.

so today!

-finish putting away all the clothes I washed

-Hang the new painting I made for his room

-install my car seat and have it inspected by the fire dept

-get my oil changed in my car and have the breaks, tires, fluids inspected

-pack hospital bag

I think that's all for this weekend!

Re: plans for today!

  • Dh and I are taking the 2 cats to get their vaccines today.  I plan on finishing up the nursery too- just have to hang his name up and add some more chinese paper lanterns to hang from the ceiling.  I'm off all week for Thanksgiving, so DH will be getting the boxes out for our Christmas decorations and I'll be putting those up slowl during the week as well.

  • Sounds like a busy day!  I'm hoping to get a lot done, too.  I need to clean my house since we are hosting Thanksgiving, I'm hoping to get baby stuff washed, and I'm hoping to go out and use our registry completion coupon to get the rest of the things we need.  I have a little over 2 weeks left (or less, but hopefully not!) and need to get a move on!

  • If Babies R Us ever sends my damn completion coupon I have a bunch of odds and ends I'd like to buy today.  Otherwise, just lots of cleaning.

  • Just an FYI, which you may already know, but make sure to call first to find out which of your local fire stations, if any, do car seat inspections. My husband is a fireman, and they don't do inspections at any of their stations...

My doctor told me that all fire stations and police stations in our area do them.
