i want to brag on my dh

So since this baby is measuring HUGE and the doctor told me to just be thinking about c-section (nothing planned yet, taking a wait and see approach), I was a little bummed last night.  I really want to avoid a c-section if at all possible for many reasons, but of course, if it comes to that, I just want my baby boy to be healthy.  I made a comment about how the cute newborn clothes I bought most likely will not fit and of course, some of these were my favorite sleepers.  He already headed out early this morning and picked up 0-3 month size in 3 of my favorite outfits just in case.  I'm not going to worry if the others don't fit (I only have 5 newborn things anyway) and extras that were gifts.  I am happy now :)

    Awwe that's really sweet of him! I don't have much newborn stuff either but my baby is measuring pretty much average.

    awe! That's a good husband. I'm in the same boat as you with a big baby. But with my fluid levels diminishing quicker than normal I think they are just going to induce me a week or so early. Apparently my kid has a huge noggin'. 

    I'm worried about his adorable newborn stuff not fitting but we don't have that much because I concentrated more on by the larger stuff. My mom told me I was too long for newborn clothes when I was born and so I pretty much assumed my baby would be like me and it looks like he is. :)

    What a great guy!  Just FYI, my niece was 9 lbs and still wore newborn size stuff for awhile, so you may get some use out of it!

    I'm hoping so!  He has a huge head, so I guess that's where most of his weight is.  Maybe they will fit for at least a week or so!

    Oh, and I bought my favorites in multiple sizes for DD since I loved them so much :o)

    What a good hubby!  Mine  would never think to do anything like that! If I worried that the NB size wouldn't fit he would be like "Eh, that sucks."
