Reflux

Poor Layla had to go to the doctor today, she's been projectile vomiting... After the tests found out she has reflux and now has to take zantac twice a day:( Makes me sad but hoping it's better than her throwing up after feedings a couple times per day. Someone please tell me this doesn't last forever!

My DD had reflux and we finally weaned her off her medicine at 15 months. My DS has it now and he's on meds. I promise it doesn't last forever! My DD is perfectly healthy and has no need for meds. She was a new baby as soon as we got her the medicine... Hope it works for your LO and she starts to feel better!

I am on my second kid with reflux as well. It really doesn't last forever. Keep in mind the meds won't stop the spit up though, just make it less painful. DD was a major spitter and we would go through tons of burps cloths/clothes a day. DSs reflux is actually worse and a bit harder to manage but he tends to swallow most of what comes up.
