Male sibling for Penelope Claire?

Hi all,

Our second baby is due in a month, and we can't for the life of us agree on a name for him.  We want something that is less common, but is a name that people have heard before (so nothing trendy or made-up- something traditional but interesting.)  Preferably something that seems to "fit" with his sister's name and seems to be in the same style family/genre.

 Any thoughts?  For some reason, naming a boy is proving to be much harder for us than naming a girl!

Well...I love the name Penelope, and my top choices for a boy are Rhett, Oscar, Elias and Vincent. Any of those appeal to you?

That's so funny- Preston is actually at the top of my short list right now.  The only thing that I can't get over is that it sounds so much like all of the two-syllable-ending-in-en names right now- Aiden,Jaden, Caden, Carson, etc.  Do you lump the name Preston in with those names or is it different?  I was thinking Preston Charles.

What about Oliver? It might be a little too popular for you, but I think it goes well with Penelope.

I adore Oliver too, but unfortunately it is too close in sound to our last name.  But if I could name him anything, that's the one I would choose.

Yeah, Preston popped into my head first.  I don't lump it in with those names at all.  I LOVE Preston Charles or Charles Preston.  They both sound great IMO.
