counting down the days until I am cleared for sex? I have been ready to have sex since 3 weeks PP It seems like most ladies  are not ready at all and now I am second guessing myself thinking maybe I shouldn't be ready lol Am I the only one??

One part of me is more than ready for sex.  DH was really weirded out by sex when I was pregnant, so it didn't happen all that often (the last time was at like 6 months pregnant...yeah...you read that right! - Thank God for batteries!).  The other part of me is terrified - I had extensive tearing (including my cervix) and my doctor has told me to wait at least another 4 weeks as I'm still not completely healed.

I am too tired for sex.  But I am only 2 weeks out.

I had a c-section, so I am less worried about pain, etc.  my vagina is still intact.  o HOwever, I am still bleeding so much, there wont be sex for a while.

I was even considering giving my H some fun - but I am so tired and the window of baby sleeping is so small.

I'm more scared about sex now than I was before my first time! I had a certain self confidence back then that I'm lacking after 6 years and +20lbs. I also keep thinking about that quote from Borat - "her vagine hang like wizard's sleeve". Maybe my imagination has got the best of me, but I assume that my vag is a hott mess - can't bring myself to look at it yet.

No you aren't the only one.  Its been awhile for us due to me being exhausted and having horrible heart burn for the majority of my pregnancy so I wasn't typically feeling up to it.  Sex to try and induce labor was off the books since DH was freaked out after the doctor checked me and said he could feel her head.  His thought process was that if the doctor could feel her head then he could possibly poke her in the head.  So now I'm more than ready but I'm waiting till I'm cleared because I don't want to screw the healing process up.

You're not alone! I am dying for it...I've even considered going ahead and trying (I didn't tear at all, stopped bleeding two weeks ago and feel fine down there) but to be on the safe side, we will wait til my appointment in a week and a half.

I have been taking care of SO occasionally, which he appreciates and a few days ago, he took care of me too (gently) and that was really nice. Not only did I feel great, but it was good to connect with SO again in that way. Still not the same as actually having sex, but it will do for now!

I'm reeeaaallly looking forward to it! I miss that closeness with DH, and we weren't doing it often at all throughout most of the pregnancy...  so yeah I want to. However I'm not sure I'm physically ready for it at all. Still kind of sore and possibly swollen -- it looks like my hole is closed up! Sorry TMI haha.

I'm 6 weeks PP today, and stopped bleeding about a week ago. I'm like you, I could not wait! I had a c-section, so maybe that's part of it, since I didn't have anything actually come out down there! We had sex for the first time in at least 3 months last night and it was awesome!! So good to feel intimate with DH again : )

I'm 7 weeks PP, and still no sex. But I have a legitimate excuse. Since we are down in Denver for the baby and DH is working during the week we only see each other on the weekends. I am an awesome wife, though. I went and bought some fancy lube and sent him a picture that said all I need is you. He thought it was funny ;] Hahah. We did fool around last weekend, but had no... protection LOL. We will get there ;]

Not the only one, I'm counting down to my appt on Dec 1st (and I think DH is too).  I had a second degree tear, but overall I'm feeling pretty good and bleeding is minimal, hoping it will stop completely soon.  Before I delivered DH had a cold, then gave it to me, so its been over 5 weeks for us already.  I might not make another 2.

I am ready, and I don't have to wait until 6 weeks but I am still bleeding. Just waiting for that to stop.

Don't be too sure!  I had a peek at mine to see how my tear healed up and somehow things looked "prettier" down there than before.  The Lady Castle's had some renovations!
