I have a co-worker who frequently calls in on Mondays and Fridays . . . hmmm, weird. I'm surprised she's still employed. I guess she doesn't need money like the rest of us.
I wouldn't call in today. It's Turkey Feast Day at work!!!!! YUMMMMMM

Dude, my former secretary was the same way. I swear to all that is holy that her children are the sickest kids on the face of the earth. Her oldest threw temper tantrums something fierce and would then vomit, so she would keep her out of school because of that. Hello, she isn't sick, she just made herself throw up. Ugh!

Notice she is a "former" secretary.
I used to work with someone who's kid (around 7 yrs old) seemed to be "sick" at least once a week. Sometimes it turned out that they were sleepy and didn't want to go to school. I think she just wanted to stay at home. Obviously

That is some awesome parenting right there. You don't have to go to school and learn, let's stay home and sleep.
