Hopeful for this cycle, but afraid I'm putting too much into it

One of you posted about superstitions/signs and cycles yesterday and I really hadn't done that too much until this particular cycle. We lost my FIL in Feb this year and that's when we really were like let's go to the dr and see why we are not PG yet. 

Anyway, I was supposed to be on BC another month, but my new RE said go off and start clomid since I am having my HSG this cycle. Well AF started on FIL's birthday and IF I O this time it will be pretty damn close to what would have been my in-law's 40th anniv. I know it's silly and my body doesn't know to magically O for these reasons. I just didn't want to bring this up to DH because this is a sensitive time, but I needed to get it out! I know some of you will understand!!

I say whatever you need to do/believe to stay positive is great!  Hopefully this is it for you.  Good luck!

I know the feeling, I am one of those that really believes dates can be lucky.  I hope this is it for you!  You have a great weekend too.

I do the same thing.  Like last cycle if it has worked my EDD would have been my mom's b-day (She passed away 13 years ago) and I thought that was good luck.  

This cycle my IUI is scheduled for tomorrow (11/19), which is the 3 year anniversary of when DH and I started dating, so I hope that is good luck for us. 

 I don't think that staying positive hurts.

I posted that note, and think that anything you do to make yourself feel good and positive about a cycle is a good thing.  Stay optimistic (even though it is hard sometimes), and GL!
