NBR: Rec your movers please :)

After many hiccups these last few months DH and I found out we are going to be able to buy the house we've been drooling over in Cedar Park. I'm so excited! The only bad thing is that we'll be moving mid December but I honestly don't care because I'm so happy.

Does anybody know of any movers they'd like to recommend? We only need the big stuff moved.

We had a bad experience with Mu stang M overs, but a good one with Blu e Wh a le.

We've used all my son.s 3 times now and we've always been happy.

We used Aloha Moving and they did great. Granted, it was over 5 years ago ....

And congratulations!!!! That is so exciting. And I'd say moving mid-December is better than moving mid-August, LOL!

I interviewed them and totally wanted to use them just for the fact that they wore Hawaiian shirts.  I mean, how awesome it that?

I had one super great experience with central Texas movers... And one not so great. However, they were the cheapest I could find, and that's how I make a lot of decisions so take it fwiw.

We used Greater Austin Moving in July and were really impressed. Very professional, polite and even nice/playful with our 2 yo who kept trying to "help" them

We also used Aloha when we moved from Houston to Austin. It was two years ago, and they were great!

I've used M&M Super Movers three times, and they've always done a great job.  The last time, one of the movers even helped me take apart some of the furniture I was supposed to aleady have taken apart before they arrived.
