Amniotic Sheet

Not sure where I can get any feedback regarding the subject but thought maybe the previous C-Sections might have some experience.  I was told from a 17 week ultrasound that my uterus is displaying an amntioic sheet/fold/shelf (they can be referred to each).  This is not to be confused with an amniotic band.  I was told the sheet is no where near baby and that is shouldnt cause any problems.  I have done alot of research but cant seem to find much about the sheets.  From what I have read it seems they could cause PPROM (premature rupture of waters) or abruption. Scary stuff!  I cant help but think that this could restrict growth due to the limited space but also read baby will push it out of the way as it grows.  So I guess I was wondering if anyone here had any experience. I am asking here as I have read and doc explained this can sometimes be a result of scar tissue.  Scar tissue from prior c-sections and/or D&Cs.   TIA to anyone who may be able to provide some insight.
