PT question

DD is doing great when she has to pee. She'll come right up and tell me "I go pee pee" so we go to the potty and she goes pee pee. But when it comes to the poo part, she WILL NOT tell me, or give me any indication she has to. Most of the time she does that in the morning, after she wakes up and has breakfast - so I take her and put her on the potty, but she wont go there. Most of the time it's not even 30 minutes after i get her off of the potty that she comes and tells me she went poo poo and needs to be changed.

What can I do???

Re: PT question

  • my daughter was the same way. it only lasted a week or two. she was in underwear full time. she started noticing it and how uncomfortable it was and would say "ew. ew." when i was wiping her off. i just talked to her about it each time i cleaned her up and eventually she started going on the toilet.

she also became more obvious about when she had to. getting more anxious, dancing around. she stopped getting candy for potty and only gets it for poop so i would tell her "if you go on the toilet you'll get candy remember?" once she was consistent then we stopped that too.
