Thought we were having one but ultrasound today showed two!  Very shocked/excited!  Any advice you ladies can give me I would love to hear. One baby is measuring at 10 w 5 d, and the other is measuring 8 w 5 d. I'm concerned with baby b being two weeks behind but I scheduled another ultrasound & doctor's appointment to help figure things out. Hoping for the best! 

 

Gonna have 3 kids under 2! Ohhhhh boy!

Welcome to the world of MoMs! Congratulations on your surprise and I hope things go well at your next ultrasound.  You will love the multiples board - great group of gals with fabulous advice and support

A lot of ladies here recommend getting Dr Luke's book for information on pregnancy with multiples.  Personally, I got and read it, but didn't follow it too closely.  It's a little extreme in some areas IMO.

Congratulations!! I too went in for my first ultrasound at 4w5d only to find out there were two!! The doctor was surprised see anything in the uterus, let alone as big as they were.  She said we should have heart beats by our next u/s at 6w3d.  My DH and I are still in shock but beyond happy after TTC for almost a year.  Don't be concerned just yet, you can only take it one day at a time.  Good luck and let us know how it goes

Congratulations!  I have had 3 weeks to let the news sink in and I still think back to the moment the tech looked at the screen and said "There's one, and there's two!"  It was such a shock but looking back now that was awesome.    Take some time to let yourself realize what you have, and try not to worry too much until you see the doctor.  (WAY easier said then done I know!)  We have our next u/s next Tuesday and it can't seem to come fast enough!  Congrats again!
