We are trying to decide between Cheyenne and ft. Collins    

Please give me some info on the city and where the good and bad parts of town are. DH works for UP, so I'll be home alone often, I don't want to live on a scary side of town lol. TIA!!

Love Fort Collins so very much!!  I'm a CSU graduate and stuck around for a few years after completing my degree.  DH and I moved to Denver then Aurora a couple years ago for his job but we love FoCo.  His parents live there so we visit often : )

I recommend living on the south side of town.  I don't know what your budget is or if you're looking to buy or rent, apartment or house, etc, etc but just south of Harmony Road and East of College Ave is a great area.  There has been lots of new development there so there's lots to do (shopping, dining, etc). 

If you're more of a "city living" mentality, Old Town is the way to go.  There is a lot going on, lots of food and music venues, breweries, etc in Old Town.  Like the name says, it's older and often more expensive to live in than the south side and there is more in the way of homelessness, drunken college kids, and nightlife but some people like that ; )
