Matte or Glossy finish for holiday cards?

I'm doing cards through Shutterfly this year. I've never made them myself, so I'm not sure which is better.

Thoughts or experiences? Pros and cons of either? WWYD?

    I prefer matte and I think that's the professionals' preference as well.

    Matte. Glossy overdoes it. The pics look nicer in matte.

    I think matte looks better, and also doesn't show finger prints like glossy.
