Thoughts on the name Aspen or Rory for a girl?
Which first and middle name do like best for a girl? Aspen Honor or Rory Claire?

The only name of the four I like is Claire. I could get behind Rory as a nn for Aurora, but I dislike it on its own.
Claire Aurora or Aurora Claire get my vote.
I actually really love Aspen, but have never heard it before. I am in the minority here, but I do love Rory for a girl.
I absolutely despise Honor. It's horrible, horrible, horrible, and I am not a fan of Claire, but love Clara.
TTC since June 2010.
DX hypothyroidism, pituitary hyperfunction, and PCOS.
On med/treatment break indefinitely. Not currently trying.

I like Rory and think it could be a lovely name.
I think Aspen is wrong. I don't like geo names, though.

I don't really care for either, but I like Aspen better than Rory.
I like Rory, like pp said, as a nn for Aurora.
I surprisingly don't hate Aspen, but I don't necessarily like it either.
I vote for Aurora Claire.
Rory is a boy's name IMHO.
Aspen is nice, but I don't like it with Honor. I prefer Aspen Claire.

Aspen is nms, but I can dig it as a kinda cool name for a girl. I do prefer Claire as the middle name for it though, as I don't think Aspen Honor flows very well.

Aspen Honor is all right... I feel like the "embarrassing nickname" potential for Aspen is a little too high for me to really like it.

Me too! Also, it sounds like the name of a lion. I have the same problem with Aspen that I do with Astor--they start with ASS. No good.

Honestly, I don't like how either of them flow. Rory Claire, especially, is too many Rs. You do like Rs...
Well, my name is actually Rory, so that is my choice.
I also like it as a nn for Aurora. If we have another girl, I have actually considered Rory Elizabeth.
Aspen is NMS...but DD1 did have an Aspen in her class last year.

I like Rory fine as a nickname for Aurora, which I love!
Aspen = ass pen. And then I start thinking about rectal foreign bodies. Which are lots of fun, but probably not a great association for a little girl.
I think Aspen Claire would be pretty. Rory is too nicknamey for me. If it was a nickname for one of the other suggestions that would work better IMO.
I have known an Aspen and she was the sweetest girl. She'd be about 30 now.
