Yes! Evergreen Farms is owned by the family of nestie Katykakes. It's awesome! DH was not so into the idea but I made him go and he loved it! He didn't stop telling everyone we know about it for like a month after Christmas. There are other activities there, too, stuff for kids I think, a hayride, and a neat gift shop.
I think they are open right now, too. Pumpkins maybe? Or maybe trees already. I don't know, but I'm pretty sure Katykakes spends her whole Fall and Winter working there. Go! You will not be disappointed!
omg - how cute! what a great idea. hey - do you want the chicken wire? it's still sitting in my garage.
oh, dude, yeah! i thought it was spoken for. would you mind dropping me an email- mcurban at gmail i am planning in trekking south next week (tuesday-fingers crossed)

We love this place! We're doing a fake tree again this year, but whenever we need a real tree this is the only place we'll go.
They have a measuring wall there that can easily be turned into a tradition. We go each year on the day after T-giving.
