Austin Babies

gallery wrapped canvas recs?

We're getting my mom & MIL canvas prints for Christmas and I've found a couple Groupon-esque deals that I'm seriously considering purchasing.  I'm curious if anyone has any experience with these printers...

  • I have experience with Easy Canvas Prints. I think their customer service is fantastic. I like the ordering process better than COD because you can see what your canvas will look like before placing the order and it's also easy peasy. I loved the quality as well, but what I loved the most was the shipping. It was fast! I ordered and got it within 5 days or so. They're based in Austin so I was told you could always pick up your order if you needed to.

    x INFINITY!!!!

I will forever sing the praises of this company.  Last month, I got a tip on a secret sale, $50 for 3 canvas prints, but it was only going on until 4pm (I was alerted to it at like 2 or 230 or something).  I didn't have the original digital files of the pics I wanted on my work computer, and couldn't get home to order them with the original files before 4pm, but I REAAALLYYY didn't want to pass up this deal.  I figured I'd go ahead and try it with the copies I could grab from my blog, figuring that most of those sites warn you that your photo quality is not good enough for that size, etc, while you're building your product.  I figured if it told me that, I'd just skip it, but I would have hated not trying.  I ended up with 3 pics for the order that did not have any warnings, so I figured they'd be ok, and submitted my order before 4pm.

Next day, I got an email from them saying that my canvasses wouldn't look good because the quality of the photos was not high enough, and would I like to try to re-submit the order with the original files?  They held my order, at the same deal price, until I was able to submit the originals, and were super quick to follow up on everything, even sending me an "Oh yeah, these files are MUCH better and will look fantastic" email.  I finally got my order placed 2 days later, and they still honored the deal price, and the prints were delivered within a week.  They totally could have just printed my crappy photos and I'd have been out $50 with blurry/digitized canvasses, and I believe some other companies probably would have done that.  My canvasses are gorgeous!

So.  Go with Easy Canvas.  And tell all your friends.  Seriously awesome company, IMO.
