Multiple days of positive OPK

I've come to the realization that I hate OPK's. They're just making everything more confusing. This is my second cycle of temping and first month using OPK's. I am now on day 5 of positive OPKs! It just doesn't make any sense. FF already put crosshairs in to indicate ovulation on Sunday (day 2 of positive OPK), probably because of the temp spike and consistent elevated temps along with CM. I haven't even noticed any form of CM whatsoever since Monday. And yet Monday all through today I have had a very strong/obvious positive. Does it make sense for LH to still be there even days after ovulation? Has anyone else experienced this?

I've had this happen before. I think I had 3 days of positive before. LH is always present, in different amounts. For some of us who get multiple positives, it's that much more important to have temps to help pin down ovulation.

I have but I'm not temping so that could be a problem. I have had pos OPK for the past four days in the AM (negative in the PM) but I am also using CBEFM and that has read "high" since CD6. Since this is my first month using it I thought I wouldn't get peak and it was just getting to know me but *bam* this morning I got peak! Hoping I will actually O now and this LH surge of four days can end. We have been BD like crazy and I think we are worn out!

Yes I had 3 days this cycle of positives. 5 days seems a bit much though, talk about confusing. Good luck this cycle!

I feel like I should stop testing because it's only making me more crazy. But I don't want to miss an opportunity to BD! The fact that I've had elevated temps for 3 days combined with no CM for the past few days makes me think I O'd already. And it's not like it's hard to tell if the OPKs are positive or not. They have been very clearly positive. So I feel like I can't really trust OPKs...or maybe it's the temps and CM I can't trust. Who knows. I just didn't realize charting would be this frustrating.

You might want to try using digitals. The only month I tried using regular OPKs, it looked like I was getting positives for days on end (like more than a week or something). I switched to CBE digitals and now I don't get more than 3 days of positives. Combined with temping, that makes it much easier to pin down ovulation. Good luck!

Are you sure the test line is as dark or darker than the control line? Just checking. I didn't know this for the longest time.

Yes, both lines were the same darkness on saturday and Sunday. On Monday through Wednesday the test line was even darker than the control line...which makes O on Sunday seem even weirder. I've also never seen no line. There is always a line there, just up until Saturday the control line was darker. Maybe I just have too much LH. I'll have to try the digital next month and see if there's a difference.
