Ugh- wetting through the diaper at night!

Can anyone suggest a diaper that won't leak overnight?  Right now, we are using Huggies overnight and they don't just leak, they explode.  It has happenned about 5 times in 2 weeks, and we even went up a size.   The normal pampers one size bigger don't work either.  Any suggestions?  (this is for a 35 pound 2 year old)

We have a 38 lb 3 year old and we use stage 6 of the generic diapers for at night.  We also start restricting fluids at 630pm and he goes to bed at 8pm.

every now and then our huggies overnights open up and those damn white pieces get EVERYWHERE.  That's what I use so I don't know.

Aren't there pull up overnights?

i can only say I hear ya. we have been in size 6 for a long time so no room to go up. It;s been a long couple weeks like this. so sick of mid of night pj changes.  my cousin uses those pads that go inside like a maxi and swears by them.at bru

Pull ups overnight won't be as absorbent as a regular diaper. I suggest the diaper doublers. I used to buy them at BRU, and I know some people find them at other places. They're $3 for 30, and one or two in a diaper should help keep her from leaking. I've been going through this for more than a year with Ethan, and I can say for a disposable diaper, that is the best solution I found, and I tried everything.

We've actually had really good luck with the overnights pull-ups.

Do you use diaper doublers?  They have them at BRU and some groceries.  They are a pack of things that look like pads that you put in the diaper to add absorbancy.  They are $3 for a 30 day supply, so much cheaper than buying overnights and regular diapers (at least for me, since I use target brand.  DD is 2.5 and just moved up from size 3 diapers last week.  She is super tiny, and the bigger diapers covered 1/2 her body, so I just added the doublers at night.

I just want to add that I got the overnight pullups and sort noticed they are thinner than diapers but hoped they had a secret inflatable quality . I had to change his pjs before he even fell asleep for the night. what a mess. I 'll be saving those until we potty train :P)

I just change dd's diaper before I go to bed if it is wet. ?She goes right back to sleep if she even wakes up. ?Don't know how sound your ds sleeps.

I use the doublers, but I don't think they are as absorbent and I feel like it makes dd all red, if that makes sense. ?Maybe the pampers absorb differently? ?

I wonder how I'll be able to potty train her when she goes so much during the night!!!?

I too have a 35 pound 2 year old. ?Right now we use the Huggies Overnights in a size 6. ?The only place I've found the size 6 is at WalMart. ?With the 5s she was leaking all the time. ?I've never tried the diaper doublers.
