Update: IUI #1 ended with a BFN, I'll be moving right onto IUI #2 once AF starts.

QOTW: Good question, I usually curl up in my comfy sweats on the couch and watch old(er) movies with my dogs, and my favorite snacks.

Update: If you didn't see my post below, I have 2 mature follies... one on each side!! Which means I trigger tonight and IUI #4 is Friday morning. You would not believe how thrilled I am right now!

QOTW: To be honest, it really depends on how I am feeling that particular day! Sometimes I'll shop, but most of the time I will put on my comfy clothes and curl up on the couch with the pup, a good book or movie and a nice big glass of wine!

Awww, thanks for the hugs.   I am currently on CD5 and am stimming for IUI#5.  My RE increased my dose of Tamoxifen for a bit of a change and now I am really drowsy.  Fun times.

 QOTW: I usually spend most of the time crying and wallowing in self-pity.  I also pig out on junk food and any other food I usually avoid while cycling (if I just got a BFN).

Update: I am 9dpo for IUI #4. I am very anxious to find out if this worked, especially because I had so many follies. I may start testing on Friday. It would be pretty cool to tell our parents on Thanksgiving, but I hate getting my hopes up.

QOTW: I eat LOL. Which is not a good idea. I am just packing on the pounds! I try to take a day or two to relax at home and stay away from everyone except my husband. Books, movies and my dog & kitties are a great comfort too. Oh, and if I'm not stimming, a good Margarita always helps

My RE times Clomid IUIs on natural LH surge/ +OPK, so currently just waiting or the +OPK.  Based on past experience that should be tomorrow or Friday, wih the IUI scheduled for the day after.

When I get the +OPK, they have me come in the same day for an u/s and bw. 

 

QOTW: usually I cry and my husband comforts me and sometimes I also do a little retail therapy.

Update: IUI #4 was done this morning and between my 3 big follies (e2 at 623) and DH's good count (11million) I am feeling hopeful that this will be it for us! So let the 2ww begin!

QOTW: usually a bad IF day will end with my cleaning, this week I'm trying to deal with a bad IF week with a few good books and a pedicure.

IUI #1 = BFN

I'm on CD5. Had my monitoring appt yesterday and started meds last night. Have another monitoring appt next Tuesday and that will determine when IUI #2 is.

 If I'm having a bad day I usually hit the gym or try and get out of the house. The worst thing..for me anyways..is to sit home and have my own little pity party.

QOTW: A book and a glass of wine.  Or happy hour with my girls.  I never tell them why, just say it's necessary.

Update: IUI #4 was on Monday so I'm in the 2WW.  Praying this cycle is the one b/c otherwise, we move onto IVF.

QOTW: I usually get angry initally and go to the gym to work off the stress.  Then when the sadness creeps in I treat myself to some...ok, a lot... of wine!!

Had a great monitoring appt today so I'm just gearing up for my IUI which should be Saturday or Sunday.  FX!

QOTW:  I usually drink when I get a BFN.  That's usually the only time in my cycle that I drink.  I also try to meditate when I get really upset or I walk through Target or Marshall's which seems to make me feel better.

Even though I am on an IUI/medicated cycle break right now, I just wanted to check in and wish you all the best of luck this cycle!

I may be back sooner than I thought, since I decided to confide in my dad about IF and my c/p and he offered to loan me the money for the treatments. I am still taking this month off though to get myself together and remember what life was like before it was centered around appointments, meds and being poked and prodded.  FX for everyone )

Update: IUI#2 was a BFN. I got AF yesterday and went in for a discussion with my RE today. Tomorrow I start Femara 5mg for 5 days, monitoring appt on 11/28, if all goes well, IUI#3 on 11/30. We decided to try one round of Femara and IUI before going to injectables.

QOTW: When I have a bad IF day, I usually get in some comfy clothes and flip through the TV stations or put on some SATC or Golden Girls DVDs...oh and get some chocolate to soothe myself with

On dpo 10 of the 2ww (IUI #3); will probably test on Friday.

QOTW:   I usually get on the elliptical machine (cuz working out releases happy endorphins), then start crying about 15 minutes into my workout, go downstairs and cry on my husband's shoulder for a bit, then go back and finish my workout.  Weird pattern, but I am mostly back to normal afterwards.

One week down, one to go...in 2ww of IUI #2.  I have done pretty good at keeping busy so far, we will see how the second week goes :-)

QOTW:  I cry.  A lot.  I have always been someone that shows emotion pretty easily and always cry when I am upset.  I wish I wasnt such a wuss!!  I also call friends and family and just talk about their day to help me forget about mine!!

Just checking in, IUI #2 was a bust, so I'm on IUI #3 and we'll be moving onto IVF if we don't have success this cycle.

IUI#1 was done tuesday morning 11/15. I go in for beta 11/27-28 depending if they are open sunday that holiday weekend the nurse wasnt sure. Either way Im hopeful mh SA looked great!

QOTW: I like to amp up my workouts. It takes my mind off things and I feel like Im taking control of something. I also like to pamper myself, like get my nails done or my hair or go out for drinks with my girlfriends.

I'm doing my first IUI this month and am currently taking Clomid so am early on in the cycle. Will probably trigger around the 29th or so - I'm excited, but nervous.

 QOTW: Usually I cry when the test results come back negative, but then pull it together and try to do something really fun the rest of the day to make myself feel better. Exercising or getting out for a good hike in nature always calms me down. And enjoying a late night out on the town with my friends and DH (and some drinks!) is something I won't be able to do when KU so I definitely enjoy my wine and beer when AF shows up

We are finishing a break cycle due to cysts and going to be doing our first IUI.

I went in for a 7 DPO progesterone check on Monday and it came back at 7.5.  That was the lowest I've ever had, even for a natural cycle.  I feel like that's barely ovulation, even though it was confirmed with u/s.  Had to start progesterone suppositories right away.  My usual compounding pharmacy went out of business and I could not find those things anywhere!  Finally had a pharmacy order them for me, but ended up in sticker shock of $108 for 15 day supply (was $30 at the closed place).  I need to keep calling around. 

QOTW:  I'm a big comfort eater, so I usually turn to sweets and other things to help cope.  This is very unhealthy and my weight keeps creeping up.  I need to find a new coping mechanism!!

Hi everyone! I just got back from the RE's office- finally a mature follicle on the 2nd u/s this week. IUI #2 tomorrow!

QOTW: Sleep! I think I slept for 16 hrs when AF came this month. It's not the most productive way of dealing with being sad.

Nothing much to report here. 2-3 days until I test if i can hold out. Thank god Black Friday is coming to take my mind of IF and focus on shopping. Hoping for a great weekend.

I am always so late to these...sorry! I am halfway through my 2ww today!! I haven't decided if I'm going to test Thanksgiving Day (like I'm supposed to) or wait until wait until the day after. I think I'm going to wait....don't want to ruin T-day.

QOTW: I don't usually do things for myself...I just get b!tchy. I'll curl up in bed or curl up with DH. I'll take a long hot shower and obviously I'll cry. I get DH to bring me home a milk shake or Frostie b/c those make me feel a little better.
