I have been lurking on this board for just over a year so I thought it was time to finally introduce myself. My DH and I have been trying to conceive baby #2 for 14 months. We have male infertility issues. His testosterone levels are fine but there are some concerns with his sperm analysis. He has had two in the past year and the most recent showed a drop from 20 million to 2 million which was heartbreaking to see.

 We were at the UR today and he is putting him on clomid in addition to supplements he is already taking.  My obgyn has also suggested starting IUI in 2012. It has been a very difficult road as you all know since many of my closest friends are pregnant or already have had babies in the time that we have been trying. My bff is due tomorrow and I have been really struggling at this point. I am so happy for her but then it reminds me of just how long it has been for us.

I also just wanted to say thank you because even though I have only been lurking for quite some time, you have all provided indirect support and inspiration to me. I wish all of you success with your own personal journeys.

    I'm sorry you are facing these problems.  Hopefully the clomid and other supps. will help your husband and get his counts back up. 

    Since you are trying to baby #2, you might also find some really good advice/support on the Secondary Infertility board.

    Anniversary

    TTC since 2008
    Dh:34, no issues.  Me:31, Endo, slightly hypothyroid, deformed ovary, paracentric inversion.
    4 Gonal-F, Cetrotide, HcG, Crinone +TI cycles= all BFN
    Lap in 2012 to remove large unresolving cyst discovered endo and double lobed ovary.
     6 Gonal-F, Cetrotide, HcG, Crinone IUI cycles= All BFN,
    1st IVF w/ICSI- June '13 Antagonist: Gonal-F, Menopur, Ganirelix, HcG, Estradiol, Crinone= 7 retrieved, 4 mature, 1 unfertilized, 2 abnormally fertilized, 1 normally fertilized.  2DT of only embryo and our miracle BFP.
    Our beloved baby boy was born sleeping Oct. 13, 2013 due to pROM/IC/Uterine infection.
    2nd IVF w/ICSI- Feb. '14 EPP/lupron/antagonist: Estrace, lupron, HGH, Gonal-F, Menopur, HcG, PIO, lovenox, doxy/dex.=21 retrieved, 16 mature, 15 fertilized!!  5dt of 1 blast/ 6 frozen. BFP!  Beta 1 9dp5dt:83.9  Beta 2: 11dp5dt: 145.2  Beta 3  14dp5dt: 497  Please be our sticky rainbow baby!

    TTC since 7/2010
    Dx: Anovulation, Endo, only one working tube and ovary
    IUIs 1-5 = BFNs
    IVF #1 - ER 7/9 3dt 7/12
    Transferred two beautiful 8 cell embryos
    Beta #1 7/26 = 484 Beta #2 7/28 = 1045
    . U/S 8/10 showed one baby with a strong heartbeat!

    Welcome! I am sorry you have to be here, as far as the sperm issues my DH has had numbers ranging from 800,000 to 17 million in the past 5 months. Today was a good day at 11 million. So they fluctuate a lot with little reason sometimes. Good luck on your journey!
