Hello ladies! It has been quite awhile since ive been around. And for that, i apologize. I took a much needed bump break to collect myself and come up with a plan. I went to see my old OB who referred me to a new group of RE's. I got copies of my records from the old RE and learned i have two gene mutations of MTHFR. Who knew....So that i believe is my problem. I am meeting with the new drs hopefully next wednesday if they can fit me in, and if not, Dec 27th. We took a week vacation to Aruba to kinda reclaim our summer since it totally sucked. I feel recharged and would love to get the ball rolling again. I am looking forward to having a new pair of eyes take a look at my records and see what they have to say!
Congratulations to all the recent BFPs and hugs to those who need them. I cant wait to catch up with you all and get to meet some new people!

JEZ!!!!!!! I was wondering where you had run off to. I'm so glad you are getting a new plan started. I've known several ladies on here that have MTHFR, and once they started getting treated, they got pg and stayed pg. I hope that is the same for you!!

I don't understand why your doctor would test for MTHFR if he is not going to tell you that you tested positive for the most severe form of the polymorphism. The moral of the story...get all your lab results in writing.
You might want to ask your RE about L-methylfolate. I work with NeevoDHA, a prenatal specifically indicated for women with MTHFR. You have a very limited ability to break down synthetic folic acid into its active form, L-methylfolate. This puts you at risk for folate deficiency related pregnancy complications.
NeevoDHA contains L-methylfolate which is already broken down. It is 7 times more bioavailable than folic acid and bypasses the MTHFR mutation. I hope you and your RE are able to come up with a plan that leads to a happy and healthy pregnancy in the very near future. My fingers are crossed for you!
