Does your CP have to get high and soft to ovulate? I check my CP religously to help determine when I will ovulate and it pretty consistently gets high and soft around the time I get my first +OPK and before my temp shift. This cycle is different though...I've had three days of +OPKs now and my CP is still very low and hard, so low that I can feel DH hit it when we BD (DH actually brags that he is able to reach it during sex). I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not it is pretty certain that your cervix needs to get high and soft during ovulation or can it stay low sometimes and you will still ovulate? I'll probably have to wait to see what my temps do in the next couple days, but would love to know if all the BDing we're doing is worth it or not.

Falling in Love! November 2014
For the past two cycles I have checked my CP in bed every morning before I get up since I can only find my cervix laying down. The past several days I have been checking it several times a day to see if, for whatever reason, it is changing position at diffrent times, but it's always low. I'm relieved to hear that OPKs trump CP, thank you!
