Going rate for babysitters?

I recently found a teenage girl at my church who I trust to stay a couple of hours with my toddler so DH and I can go on a date every now and then.  Just curious, what are people paying per hour for a babysitter like this?  tia!

Wow!  I remember when I was a teenage babysitter I always charged $2 per hour for the first kid then, $1 per hour for each additional kid!  Times sure have changed!!

I always pay $10 an hour.  I will round the total amount up if it involved dinner, bath and bedtime.
