How many pairs of underwear?

We're working on potty training but are still in diapers.  When you switched to underwear, how many pairs of underwear did you have for LO?  I think I have about 14 pairs each (7 each are those they chose and are "theirs", but the other half can be worn by either).  Is that enough or should I stock up with more? :-)

DD has 7 pairs and it has been plenty.

I want to say 23, but that seems high. I don't know, two bigger packs and one small pack - Mickey Mouse, Cars, and a small pack of Julius (Paul Frank monkey). Of course, for a while there we were in a "peeing in undies is funny" stage, so we went through a lot of them every wash cycle. Now the rotation lasts quite a bit longer. I'm sure when we go into the next size we won't get quite so many. Or maybe we will, he's very particular about which underpants he wears each day, so I might have to buy multiple characters again.

DS has about 12-15 pairs.  It's been plenty.  We aren't going to buy any more untill he needs the next size.

He has 9 pairs he likes (boxer briefs) 6 pairs he won't wear (tighty whitey style).  9 is enough, I do laundry often and if he runs out he would rather go cammando anyway.
