What are your 4/5 year old's favorite books?

I volunteered to be the "secret reader" in DS's preschool class on Friday.  I'm trying to surprised him as well, but was also trying to find out what they have already read.  Apparently they've read just about all of our favorite books, so I need to run to the library tomorrow to get some others!

Preschoolers seem to love anything by Laura Numeroff.

My 4 year old loves the 'Little Critter' books (but has for some time) as well as Robert Munsch.

He is in to longer 'stories' now, including classics.

DS1 looooooves the Elephant and Piggie books by Mo Willems.

Ladybug Girl and Bumblebee Boy by David Soman - it's one of DD's favorites!!!  And it's about a little boy and little girl and it's so cute!!

DD is really into Busytown books by Richard Scarry.

Anything by Mo Willems is a sure thing--the pigeon books are hilarious if you read with a lot of expression, and kids always love Knuffle Bunny.
