At my appointment I got news that I can stop the Procardia today!! What a relief. The side effects were really getting out of hand and my blood pressure was plummeting the longer I stayed on it. Anyway, we're ready when you are, baby boy

And I just started mine today. After a pre-term labor scare in L&D, I wonder how long I'll have to be on it for.

I've been off since Saturday and I am SO happy. You're right, those side effects are horrible! Now watch him come after 40 weeks - I'll be so upset.

Oh man, wouldn't that suck!! I am trying not to get my hopes up because I know he can still hang out for 5 more weeks. But at the same time I was contracting even while on the maximum dose. Time will tell.

So jealous! I get off of mine in 13 days.. But who is counting I am so over the side effects! I also get to resume all regular activities when I get off of it!

Still on the bed rest till the end of the day Friday. Ideally he'll stay until at least Friday or Saturday but there's no stopping him at this point. I'm only off the Procardia because my BP was dangerously low and the risks outweighed the benefits at this point.

They took me off of it last Wednesday. Thank goodness, too. I hated that stuff. It made me feel light headed and nauseous!
