Did anyone else's LO not take well to being worn? Everything I read about this is positive, but G has yet to accept spending time in the Moby or the ergo. He is colicky and cranky as a baseline, but when I get him in one of these devices he absolutely loses his sh*t. For realize, worse than his usual crying. So I'm out of ideas on how to do anything with 2 hands (other than letting him cry, which I have to do in order to eat lunch quickly or go to the bathroom). Are we the outliers here? I sure feel like it.

My life has a superb cast but I can't figure out the plot.
DS cries in the Ergo until i really start moving. He doesn't like it if I'm just standing still, but as soon as we're walking around he quiets right down.

My LO so far hates being worn. I have a sling and ergo and tried both. He tolerates the sling for 5 mins or so and than gets annoyed and starts crying. He doesn't like ergo yet at all. I am hoping that I can use ergo when he is a little older or it will be a waste of $120.
My LO enjoys looking at his mobile a lot, so he spends 30-45mins playing under that. He also enjoys his play gym. If you have any of these things, give them a try.

This was my DS also. Especially at first when they were new we had to be moving to keep him from crying. He grew to love being worn, but it took time. We definitely introduced it gradually, kept moving and kept trying. Good luck.
I still haven't figured out how to turn the 10 feet of fabric they call a "Moby"into a usable device for carrying a baby.
I hope you figure it out and he likes it. Knowing my daughter's temperament, I'm sure if and when I figure it out she'll hate it. She hates every other thing created to soothe or carry or entertain babies.
