Possible Progress??

I'm 38 weeks today, yay and boo at the same time. Boo because I want him here, now. Yay because I made it this far.

I'm going to apologize in advance for the TMI. Is it weird I was incredibly excited when I had some discharge/plug come out that was pink/blood tinged? I mean, incredibly excited. It's sort of surreal that this is what it takes to make me excited.

  • Ohh I'm excited for you! That's a good sign! I can't believe your 38 weeks..I'm only about a week behind you and that feels so far away for some reason.

  • I have to admit that every time I go to the bathroom, I am kind of hoping to see something gross when I wipe, haha. So bizarre! Waiting for the mucus plug or some sign that something is happening down there. Have another dr's appt today too, so I am hoping that she will tell me that I am progressing--last week I was 60% effaced, zero dilation....

  • I am checking each time I use the bathroom. I know it means nothing and I'm still too early to be hoping for the end, but I would be really excited to see that too.
  • It's funny how we don't want anything to happen for the longest time. Then, Bam! At 37 weeks we're hoping for all these gross, bloody signs. Ha!
