I've been lucky, I guess, that I haven't gotten any comments about my size until now. My co-workers love the "any day now!" line, but that doesn't both me because it's true.
Last Friday, we went to a wedding and during the cocktail hour a woman I've met once before came up to me and said, "Looks like it could be twins!"

I had that happen at the dentist - they needed to do some x-rays, and I asked for two lead drapes. The tech was like, "Why?" and I had to point out that I was (at-the-time) 34 weeks pregnant. Three weeks later, and apparently I'm now massive.

Sometimes I think people just don't know what to say! They should always err on the side of careful and not say anything at all. The ones that think it's okay to say something are usually strangers. Just think, it's almost over!
I agree with you! I like when people say stuff to me too no matter what it is. People are much more friendly when you are pregnant. They smile and engage you I think it is nice. Even if they are comparing me to livestock;)
I had a lady today while standing in line say " Boy, when is your baby due?!" and I replied...oh three and a half weeks to go! Her eyes got big and she goes "oh, Wow, do you think you're going to make it?"
And I'm a petite person! I wanted to look at her and say no, I think I'll have my water break right here on your shoe.
