I'm starting to not be able to function as I am only getting approx. 4 hours of broken sleep each night at 35 weeks. I'm just curious if anyone else is in the same boat and how you are handling it. Good Luck!
I'm so tired that I'm in bed by 9 each night... But I only sleep for about an hour or so at a time between pee breaks. And then around 2:30 or 3, I have to get up and move to the chair or the futon b/c my back hurts so badly. After that I'll get another 2 hours or so of sleep. I'd say I average anywhere from 6 to 8 hrs all told, which basically means I have nothing to complain about!

About an hour at a time if that. Sleep is more of a hassle than anything anymore, I can't ever seem to find a comfortable position, I sweat like no other even with the a/c and fan going, and my little guy likes to dance in the middle of the night.

I go to bed at 9 and get up at 4, but I get up 2 to 3 times a night to pee and then I have to wake up to roll over. So I'd say I'm getting maybe 4 to 5 hours total.
I have always been a good sleeper (averaged 10 hours per night for my whole life). I didn't think the "difficulty sleeping" side effect was going to impact me...but I was wrong.
I was only sleeping about 4 hours at 35 weeks...couldn't sleep at all. I don't know what happened, but it seems to have gotten better. I am up to pee twice and sometimes just up rolling around. I would guess that I'm getting at least 7 hours because I am not tired at all during the day. I hope it gets better for you too!!
I usually go to bed between 11 and 12 and wake up at least every two hours to pee. I get up for good around 6 so I figure I'm getting somewhere between 5 and 6 hours on a good night.
Probably 4-5 hours a night like most other people. I had a couple of good nights of sleep, but I think that's because those days I did so much that I was too exhausted for my body to function any longer. On a normal night, I feel so tired and lay down and just don't sleep for 3 or 4 hours... or I sleep well for 2 hours and then wake up for no reason. It's the worst.
not enough! LOL. I go to bed around 10pm but I don't fall asleep till about 12am. then I'm up about every 2 hrs repositioning myself and my pillows. Then at 4:30am DH's alarm goes off and I'm up for an hour talking with him. I fall back asleep around 530am and then my LOs are up at 7:30-8am. I think I'm getting about 6hours of sleep. But it sure feels like a whole hell of a lot less!
I'm getting 5-6 hours lately it seems. I'd like to have 7 or 8. I don't get it, I'm exhausted but I have so much trouble falling asleep and I wake up often in the middle of the night. My doctor says its how my body is preparing for the baby coming, it is learning to function on less sleep for all those night time feedings.
I go to bed around 9 and then have to wake up to pee usually around 1 or 2. After that it's pretty much just rolling around trying to get comfortable and maybe getting another hour or so of sleep until I have to get up at 6. My husband has started sleeping in the guest room because my rolling around was keeping him up too...plus he says I breath too loud. lol

i'd say i average 8 hours, but it's the worst 8 hours i've ever had.
i go to bed about midnight, usually fall asleep by 1 or 2, wake up at 3 something, 4 something and 6 something, then 7 something and often can't fall back asleep. sometimes i get up, sometimes i fall back asleep until 11, but wake up at 9 something and 10 something.
i'm often surprised at how awake and alert i am during the day, but since it's been like this all third trimester i guess i'm just used to it by now.
Maybe I am one of the lucky ones or maybe it is because I am still only 34 weeks but I am getting at least 8-9 hours each night. I get up 2-3 times to use the bathroom but I usually fall right back asleep. I am still working 40 hours a week on my feet (pharmacist) so I am pretty exhausted from working which must be helping me get those 8-9 hours each night. I don't think I would be able to function at my job if I wasn't sleeping this much.

It's beginning to wear on me.

My secret relief is naps when I can take them.
