Detergents

If you have hard water, which detergent have you been successful with?? Specifically if you live in the midwest - northern Illinois area??

I love the Tiny Bubbles, but I think it's causing the ammonia problem.  EcoSprout is already out as we tried that a while back.  While the diapers were clean, DD got a horrible rash.

I've read all about other detergents, checked the links on FAQs, etc., but I think it's leaving me more confused.  We have Chicago water and I know it's chlorinated, hard water, etc.
