Im waiting on the backlash...

Ex is supposed to give me 15 days notice for his weekends. He just gave me 11 days notice and I said "nope, we've already made holiday plans." if he followed the co he'd get overnights in January. I guess that was too hard for him... Lol

Re: Im waiting on the backlash...

  • Maybe he'll learn once he starts getting used to "tough love".  I'd ignore any and all "backlash" from him because you can be sure it's coming.

  • Oh, I know. He is trying to be as controlling as he can. I don't respond to anything unless it has to do with his visitation dates and pick up/drop off time. Of course, I am a super b!tch because of it. Whatevs :)

  • It's not your fault he can't follow simple directions. But, like you said, it'll be all your fault. :::eyeroll:::

Stick to your guns...good luck dealing with him!

  • Here is the Email I sent..

     Josh,

To answer your first question, I will not be responding to any E-mail or text messages that are worded in a negative way.

I believe that I have been more than accommodating during your unemployment period. Per the court order, you were supposed  to give me 15 days notice in November for your 4 day visit. Since I agreed to do a 4 day visit this month per your request, instead of the 2 - 2 day period I believe you have had ample time to plan your trip.

Since the 15 day period has been up, I have submitted my work schedule and planned our Thanksgiving  weekend under the impression that you would not be making your trip.

    and his response..
I have been more than accommodating to your changes and request during my visitation with him. Unfortunately, you thoughts on the Child support aren't left up to you. Instead of pre law you chose culinary. I see that you are going be extremely hard to deal with seeing that 2 days is the only gap that I had from two week (not 15 days 2 weeks. Reread the agreement) period bc I had to sell my personal belongs to purchase a flight. I'm positive the judge will see this as being uncompromising and nearly impossible to deal with. By the time we will have appeared in court you will have be fully compensated for the gap in CS coverage. I hope you are no hanging you hat on that. Thank you for the written response. Whatever options I have in the agreement about Xmas I will be taking to the fullest.

** AHHHHH!  I didnt even say anything about child support. Also, he hasnt been accommodating at all. Hes been late both times he visited and once resulted in my mom having to drop Wy off at work with me because J was over an hour late..

Dont worry. I am not responding.
