7 month old feeding schedule...

How much are you feeding them - solids and milk, and when are you feeding them?  This whole solid thing has me so confused!

Also, are you breastfeeding or formula?

My little dude turns seven months tomorrow.  Holy moly!  This is usually his feeding schedule...

6am - 8oz of formula

9am - 6 - 8oz of formula, rice cereal with fruit

Noon - 6 - 8oz of formula, meat & vegetables

3pm - 6 - 8oz of formula, vegetables

6pm - 6 - 8oz of formula....

 It's working for us at this point, but I'd like to introduce finger foods.  I'm just extremely scared of choking as he doesn't have any teeth just yet.

We usually feed when she wakes up (and when I am not home) at 8:30 with Oatmeal and a 5 oz bottle...(she doesn't finish (maybe leaves 1.5 oz) all of the bottle most days & we use bmilk to mix the oatmeal)

She eats lunch around 12--Usually I will give her a solid (today is avocado & banana) and a 4-5 oz bottle (again she doesn't finish her bottle)

I get home about 4:30 and I bfeed...

Dinner is around 7 (with sippy cup of water)...

bfeed about 8:30p

Bfeed/bed about 10p

She is not a big bottle feeder...she definitely eats more when I am with her

We are almost at 7 months (about a week now) here's our schedule:

 

8 - Solids (fruit puree, eggs, toast, yogurt, etc) offer sippy with 5 ounces of formula

9 - Finish sippy 

12 - Solids - leftovers (lasagna, chicken noodle soup, etc.), grilled cheese, baby carrots, apple slices, any left over puree or yogurt from breakfast, ect. offer sippy with 6 ounces of formula

1 - Finish sippy

4 - Snack - crackers, puffs, baby carrots, ect. with small sippy of water or juice

6:30 - solids - whatever we are having for dinner, plus a veggie puree if there is none with dinner suitable for her to eat (she'll eat about half). Sippy with about 3 ounces of formula

7:45 - 10 ounces of formula

While at the sitter (7-4) E eats 12 ounces of breastmilk and one feeding of fruit mixed with oatmeal.

4:30 - Boob

5:30 ish - Chicken, veggie, and fruit (probably 3 - 5 ounces of food).  I'll feed her as long as she's into it and opening her mouth.  I never fight with her to have solids.

We just added breakfast and afternoon snack, but before that it looked something like this:

5, 7:30, 10am : BF

12: cereal and fruit total 4-5oz

2:30 BF

5: protein, veg, fruit (total 7-8oz)

7pm: BF

Replacing a BF with solids was DD`s idea. Otherwise, I would offer BF or formula just before solids.

Our schedule looks like this:

 

7am 6 oz of formula

9am 2.5 oz fruit w/ 1tbsp of oatmeal

11am 6 oz of formula

2pm 2.5 oz or fruit or veggie

4pm 6 oz of formula

5pm 2.5 oz of veggie & 2.5 oz of fruit

7pm 6 oz of formula 

 

Sometimes we do a 10pm dream feed if they do not take a lot at 7pm
