I like it because it can be used as a free-standing potty, but you can also take part of the seat off and put it on the big potty and can also be used as a step stool for washing hands. Its also nice that the lid closes.
We started using it as a potty, but now that DD is doing so well we just put the potty seat part on the big potty so we don't have to clean her potty all the time.
I also recommend getting a travel potty seat b/c public toilets are so big and we've had issues at the library and restaurants a couple of times so I just ordered one from amazon, hope it helps, the reviews were really good.
