I used the MaxiMom & it's great. I actually have it listed for sale on the Multiples Resale page on FB. We used it a few times & really liked it but my kids outgrew it fast (DH is 6'7")- my LOs are just growing like monsters otherwise we would have enjoyed it longer
The AP board could probably give you actual links, but there are ways to use two carriers at the same time. Mei tais are great for this (one on the front, one on the back), wraps can work too (and are probably the best for cradling newborns... I think there are even ways to carry two babies in the same wrap if they're small enough), and I've even seen a mei tai and a soft sided carrier used together.
I personally wouldn't spend the money on one that is made to specifically carry two babies. Most of them look really uncomfortable, and your babies are going to outgrow it FAST, and be too heavy to carry both at once for any real amount of time. But you can get two compatible carriers, and then still use them separately when they're bigger.
Ive carried both my guys in the moby together a few times, but one of them always ends up with a dent from the other's pacifier... When they get a little bigger I will probably carry one in the moby on front, and one in an ergo on my back. You can also wear 2 ergos one on front and one on back.
You can wear two Bjorns at once (if you have two already anyway). I posted a pic of myself on here wearing two a long time ago. It's pretty easy- put one Bjorn on, scoot it to the side, then put the other Bjorn on, overlapping one of the straps and scoot it to the other side. You will basically have one Bjorn over each boob. Then put the babies in. Not super comfy, but no twin slings are. Once they hit 10 lbs I stopped doing it because it got too heavy.

Is the Resale page from this group? How can I get on there?
Yes,they exist. I have a TwinTrexx twin baby carrier and I love it. You can wear them both at the same time, front and back or it separates into 2 carriers when hubby is with me. I hope this helps.
for my back, i liked the mei tei cuz you can do a high back carry, but i really loved my kokopax. its great because you can easily put it on in the parkinglot.
for my front, i liked the moby and the ergo.

It does not look comfortable.

We have one of these ($25 secondhand). It was nice when they were tiny, but at 20 lbs combined its awkward b/c of where the weight sits on you.
