Hi all.. Still learning and need some advice. Today is CD15 and I was SO hoping to have a significant rise in my temp this morning so I could say I O'd even though I never saw a +OPK..
So this morning I took my temp with my eyes closed, heard the beep, got up and read the temp in the bathroom (97.70) and was thrilled at the nearly 1 degree increase. Then while in the shower I realized that the 97.70 was the standard temp that shows up after ever "real" temp. I jumped out of the shower to check and sure enough there was no "real" temp saved.
So just for comparisons I took it again right then and it was 97.42. Of course I know the shower was the reason for the rise.. I am so mad that of all days it did not record! UGH!
So what would you do? Just leave today's temp blank? And if for some reason I DID O yesterday, my temp would still be up tomorrow so I would know, right?
Re: Question for the temp takers
Yep. Leave today open, and if you o'd your temp will stay up above the coverline throughout your luteal phase.
Which brand thermometer are you using?
