I saw on Pinterest a tip about cleaning them (maybe MMT had pinned it?) and since our dark brown microsuede couch was looking disgusting after less than 2 years of having it I thought I'd try it. OMG it looks brand new!!
I put rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, sprayed it on the cushion (not saturating it) then rubbed vigorously with a sponge (use one with the soft scrubber on one side and that isn't colored because it may discolor the couch), then took a white scrub brush and went over it again. I seriously couldn't believe it. And after it dries it doesn't smell like alcohol (which I love the smell of rubbing alcohol so I did this in the midst of recovering from food poisoning).
Re: If you have Microsuede/microfiber furniture
Yup. I pinned it. I am beyond excited to try it out.
Thanks for letting us know that it actually works!!
Awesome!! Now I can't wait to try it, too!
that is awesome! does anyone know if you can steamclean a microsuede/fiber sofa?
we are getting a new one on tuesday (replacement - thanks havery's warranty!) and i want to see if it will last a little-a lot longer than our old one...which is ruined.

yes you can. we had K&M do ours about 6 months ago. it looked awesome and brand new after it was done, but like i said above, it was expensive. we have a sectional.
you could probably do it yourself though and save a lot of money that way too.
awesome! we have a steamer for the carpet with an attachment. i can do that then down the line.
