Wet diapers- DS cannot stand them for a sec

I thought DS would get upset, but did not expect him to cry like crazy every time his diaper is wet.  He wakes up out of a sound sleep if he has a wet diaper. Is this normal?

Are you using cloth or disposable?  I noticed with disposable DD is fussier. They definitely are damper than disposables.

I use disposable diapers (pampers swaddlers). Maybe, I will try a different brand.

A friend's son had this issue too.  Anytime he was wet, day or night, it was an intolerable situation for him.  She tried cloth & disposables, but neither seemed to make a huge difference.  She just got used to changing him immediately, whenever needed.  It was a pain for her throughout infancy, but on the plus side, he started potty training early, since he'd rather use the potty than be in a wet diaper.  GL!

I am wondering if this is because of his circumsion.

My kids could care less.  DD gets upset about poop, but not pee.  The boys would rather sit in a dirty dipe than get changed

Lucas is circumcised and never had a problem with being wet. There are two times that he was so wet that he got upset about it.

I am so jealous of everyone who's LO doesn't have problem with being wet!  I just don't like my DS get so sad when he has a wet dipe.  I am praying that this passes very soon.

My DD cries bloody murder with a wet one, but will sit in a poo. I think when she poos, her tummy feels so good she doesn't notice the dirty diap, but with a pee it's just not acceptable.

DD did this early on, but as she got older she kind of outgrew it.  We are to the point now that she doesn't tell us if she is wet or poopy.  I almost wish she still cried so that we'd know.
