Pregnant after a Loss

Little nervous...

Hey ladies I wanted to ask for some advice if I could..well last night right before I went to bed I had a little tiny bit of spotting 2x.  Then 1x when I got up this morning.  Not really having any cramps and haven't had any more spotting today.  I called the Dr. and she said that I am probably fine since it wasn't much and I did it off an on my whole 1st trimester with my DD.  She told me to limit all activity as much as possible and rest.  She said that when I come in next week for my regular appointment that they would do an u/s. I asked her if it could be implantation bleeding and she said that it could be. I feel like if she was worried that something was wrong she would have gotten me to go to the ER. I am just a little nervous.

I know that everything is in the Lord's hands and everything will be ok no matter what, I was just wondering if any of you have gone through the same thing?

  • Yup, all brown spotting here, not sure what color yours is.  It's been on and off since week 7 and the babies are looking really good so far.  Hard to be rational (for me) but try to be reassured that it is very normal for a lot of people. *hugs*

  • Thank you!!  The 1st 2x were a little tiny trace of pink, So light I almost thought that it was my finger through the tissue.  Then this morning the 1x I have spotted it was brown.  Nothing since. I had spotting with DD at 7weeks then 13 weeks and bleed like a period at 14 weeks and everything was fine the whole time.  Its just very nerve racking. I know though like I said that everything is in the Lord's hands and he will take care of us.  Thank you for your advice and hugs!!

  • Try not to worry too much, so many women have had spotting and been just fine.  I know it's very nerve wracking though!  ((Big Hugs)) hope everything is OK and spotting stays away from now on!

  • I've had a few episodes of bright red spotting (only when wiping, usually only one at a time), and I'm still pregnant.  With my last pregnancy, I had some brown/red spotting very early on, and since it was a pregnancy right after a miscarriage, I was sent to the ER...everything was ok...they did an ultrasound, didnt see anything (to me it looked like one empty sac).  My levels kept going up and at 8 weeks, had another ultrasound, which we saw 2 perfect beating hearts!  This time, just the few episodes, and I'm 20 weeks now. Good luck!

  • I've been spotting pretty much every day since just before I got my BFP.  My first u/s was on Wednesday and everything was great.  We saw and heard the HB. They could actually see a little ring of blood on my ultrasound.  The u/s tech and my Doctor said that it was from the placenta forming and the baby burrowing and that I will probably spot for a couple more weeks or until the rest of the blood is absorbed.  She said it's very common and not to be concerned (easier said than done) unless I was cramping or it turned into heavy bleeding.    T&P are with you!
